Dear Students,

Within the scope of WESREF-IU project which is being carried out by Horizon 2020 through Istanbul University, an academic Turkish language support program will be provided to the Syrian students in our university throughout the academic year of 2018-2019. The contents of the program which aims to increase the academic success and participation of our students are determined as follows :

• Works on how to improve note-taking skills during classes.
• Works on developing reading comprehensions and interpreting skills.
• Studies on terminologies and structures used in the academic language.
• Activities to develop academic writing skills; writing articles, preparing written presentations, letters sent to official institutions and individuals (writing e-mails, petition etc.),
• Works on improving oral presentation skills.

Due to the quota limits, the applications will be evaluated according to the capacity.
