Congress on Epidemics
Dear Academics,
Since late 2019, the alarming situation of the COVID-19 pandemic has topped the global agenda and tested societies’ approaches to dealing with the related issues of ethics, law, economics, politics, technology, culture, health and education systems, religious and family life, and international relations, as was the case in previous pandemics. At our international conference, which will be held at the Dicle University Conference Center in Diyarbakir on 13–15 October 2022, we wish to review all domestic and foreign, historical and recent, minor and major epidemics from historical, ethical, legal, and media perspectives, with the aim of improving the lives of individuals and societies by taking lessons.
We cordially invite you to attend our conference organized in cooperation with the Dicle University, the Istanbul University, and the Society of Medical Ethics, Medical Law, and Medical History, and supported by the Diyarbakır Sur Municipality.
Conference President
Prof. Dr. Arın Namal (Istanbul University)
Organizing Committee Chair
Lecturer Burak Kazan, PhD (Dicle University)
