The Dog Beaten in the Shelter Treated in Istanbul University

After beating up in a shelter in Istanbul, the golden retriever was brought to IU Veterinary Faculty General Surgery Clinic and received its treatment.

The golden retriever dog was first treated in a special clinic but later was brought to Istanbul University as it has all the facilities needed. After the medical examination and radiography, trauma related multiple fracture on the forehead and therefore, collaps on right and left frontal sinuses were detected. A multiple fracture and collaps that has spread on a large area was successfully treated with plates by Prof. Dr. Kemal Altunatmaz on April 15, 2016. The dog that underwent the surgery is currently fine.

After the surgery, the dog was sent to the special clinic that previously treated the dog for postoperative care.
