The 3rd International Congress of the Balkans and Migration was held at Istanbul University
The 3. International Congress of the Balkans and Migration, held together by Istanbul University and Rumeli Balkan Associations Federation, whose honorary chairman was IU Rector Dr. Yunus Söylet was held on November 5, 6 and 7, 2014.
The opening ceremony of the Congress was held at the Prof. Cemil Birsen Conference Hall on November 5 in IU Faculty of Arts. Opening speeches of the Congress was made by IU Rector Dr. Yunus Söylet, Congress President Prof. Dr. Ali Arslan and Rumeli Balkan Associations Federation Chairman Ayhan Bölükbaşı.
During the Congress held in 5 sessions, immigration issues and problems of genocide in the Balkans area were taken up by 24 distinguished speakers.
