Istanbul University Is Among the Top 500 Universities for Medicine
Istanbul University has been ranked among the World’s Best 500 Universities in the World University Ranking 2020 which was published by “Times Higher Education”.
Times Higher Education published the World University Rankings 2020. In the rankings involving about 1400 universities from 92 countries, Istanbul University has been ranked between 401-500 in the field of clinical, preclinical and health.
Within the context of latest World University Rankings Report that is the widest and the most various one in the world, the evaluations were made according to the chart formed with 13 quality-performance indicators. In this chart, education, research, data-transformation and international aspect were judged in the institutions’ performance. The rankings were controlled by PricewaterhouseCoopers, which is a professional foundation independently.
Oxford University has been ranked as the first four years in a row whereas Cambridge University regressed to be third in the rankings. While California Institute of Technology has been ranked as second by rising three lines; Stanford, Yale, Harvard and Imperial College of London took among the first ten places.
