İstanbul University 10th November Atatürk’s Commemoration Day Ceremony Was Carried Out in İstanbul University Central Campus Rectorship Yard

Ceremony started with İstanbul University Rector Prof. Doc. Mahmut Ak’s placing wreath on Atatürk and Youth Monument. At 9:05, together with the siren sounds, they stand in silence afterwards the Turkish National Anthem was sung with the accompaniment of İstanbul University State Conservatory Orchestra.
At the end of the ceremony, academic and administrative staff placed wreath on the Atatürk and Youth Monument, then they were taken photo in front of the monument. Academic and administrative staff, İU Hasan Ali Yücel Faculty of Education( HAYEF) Student Centre and İU Beyazıt kindergarten participated in this ceremony.
İstanbul University Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Ak published a message for the commemoration day. He said in his message: “Dear İstanbul University members, we commemorate the Republic of Turkey’s founder and the head teacher Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s 77th death anniversary with respect and gratitude.”
