Erasmus+ Project from Communication Faculty on Building a Sustainable Life in the Digital Age
The project titled "Upskilling performers in the digital data exchange standards of the streaming platforms" funded by the European Union Erasmus+ program has implemented jointly by the coordinating institution Culture Hub (Bulgaria), İstanbul University (Türkiye), Axantis Association (France).
The project is conducted by Prof. Dr. Seçkin Özmen from the Faculty of Communication. Prof. Dr. Haluk Zülfikar from the Faculty of Economics and Müge Önal, a PhD student at the Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Public Relations and Publicity are working as a researcher in this project. The aim of the project is to support unsecured artists to monetize their online content and protect their intellectual property in digital platforms.
Achievement of the overall goal; It is to provide guidance to performing artists on income opportunities by sharing best practices and competencies to gain access to information that will improve the overall position of artists, and by building a future-proof competency. Activities under the project will enable artists to learn, create and present digitally, supporting the distribution of their content to record labels, independent radio stations and other media. Hence, this project seeks to share good practices and technical knowledge on how to build a sustainable life in the digital age.
