Comprehensive Resilience Framework for Multiple Disaster Risks

The C2IMPRESS project, which has 17 participants from 6 countries in total, aims to establish more resilient and sustainable cities in the world against disasters. The project aims to bring a radical paradigm shift to disaster and hazard research and innovation by moving from a traditional 'hazard centred' approach/framework to a new 'place and people' centred integrated multi-hazard risk and resilient assessment framework. Thus, the project will develop a comprehensive resilience framework for multiple disaster risks. It will propose a new people-oriented framework with citizen participation and appropriate tools to replace the existing disaster-focused frameworks.
